Hi!
What’s the situation with drivers for the FW 16 AMD Ryzen 7040 and AMD 7700S dGPU model? I reinstalled the AMD drivers today from the latest available driver bundle in the website downloads (trying to diagnose some weird monitor behavior), and rather than the previous behavior where it would act as if the FW driver is the latest available, it’s suggesting to install newer AMD drivers. Is the latest recommendation to use the latest AMD drivers or keep using the FW-provided driver bundle? I kept on seeing weird behavior with the AMD drivers, like worse performance and black screen when starting up from hibernation on Windows 11 but I haven’t kept up with the most recent developments and searching the forums hasn’t helped to clear my confusion up.
Uninstalled the chipset and display drivers (using BC Uninstaller and DDU), and redid the installation using the bat file in the install archive (I deleted the other steps to install other drivers since I didn’t need them). Now it works like it usually does, with no prompt to update the drivers. So it was my fault for not using the bat file install method.
