Finally arrived!!! Haven’t had too much time to test it out yet, but I’ve been using it to do some homework and I’m really liking it so far.
Everything seems to be functioning perfectly and I’m quite liking being able to switch between computer and tablet mode (my first 2-in-1 as they all seemed so unrepairable/had soldered ram and stuff like that). It’s nice being able to know that this device will never effectively become junk due to one thing breaking rendering the whole thing useless.
The Metapen M2 seems to be working quite well out of the box too, and actually sticks pretty well to a few spots magnetically, not afraid of it falling off at all. Now I can finally write out/take mathematics notes without either having to carry around a bunch of paper or a drawing tablet (and it’s significantly easier to share on a projector/similar)!
I’ve still got more testing to do, but for my uses (academic work/lightweight tasks on the go, I have a powerful desktop for everything else) I think Framework may essentially have made the perfect device.

I think mine is starting to crack 
I saw they’ll have the updated covers in about 4 weeks. I’ll give the crack a few more days to be better visible on camera and open a support ticket. Hopefully the new ones won’t crack.

Placed an order on the 27th and received it today. Framework must be very close to normal in-stock availability.
If I may ask, what was your configuration? I placed my order on Sept. 24th and haven’t heard any updates.
Aw man sorry to hear that. I ordered a bubblegum i5 Diy, US grey keyboard. No ram, no ssd, no charger, no OS.

Mine is fairly similar, just with the i3. I was also able to add a stylus to my order yesterday so expect that to push it out slightly further.

Got mine today! So cute, love the texture of the case and the overall design.
Installed Linux Mint, and once my screen protector is here I’ll be ready to take this thing on the go
Unfortunately I haven’t seen any movement on my gray DIY order.. it was placed on the 15th and I had the prep email a day later 
Damn that’s quite a while.. it might be worth asking support at this point whether they have an update on your order.
Yeah they originally said I was going to be charged the remaining amount last month, which hasn’t happened either, so I’ve had to send a follow-up email today.

Don’t think so, but could be. Hopefully if that is the case you’ll receive the new revision of the covers. Either way though, hope you’ll get an update of some kind soon ^-^

Hey, anyone else in batch 11 got their shipping soon email? Specifically anyone else in the US? I haven’t gotten mine and I know we’re only 4 days into the month but I’m antsy since it’s a gift for someone and I wanna see em open it already.
I pre-ordered on Sept 24th, got a “we’re preparing your batch” email on the same day, then a shipping soon email on Sept 25th, and a shipping notice on the 26th and it was delivered to me in the midwest via fedex on Sept 30th. I got the i3 DIY edition in lavender without any add-ons, except for a USB-C expansion card.
It was incredible to see how fast it traveled across the world. Even so, and knowing I wouldn’t be able to set it up until this weekend, it was still hard to wait those four days.
Ah, I got the 13th Gen Intel Core DIY edition and a few add ons, ordered on Sept 11th and still haven’t gotten my confirmation email unfortunately, been checking daily for it
Have you checked your order status directly on the Framework website? Might be updated there and you’re just not receiving the emails. If there’s nothing there as well then try writing to Support, since this does seem abnormally long of a wait.
It’s said it’d ship in October when I placed it, I’ll likely give it another week since the website and email so far haven’t updated yet, just checked, still no email, and order status still says pre-order confirmed.

My batch 11 order has just shipped this morning.
Configuration is i3 main board, bubblegum, lavender keyboard, no memory/SSD, no power adapter, a few expansion cards. Luckily was able to add a stylus last week, too. Seems like this last batch is a bit stop and go as production gets into a full rhythm.
