It totally has not become a habit of mine to check the website, blog, and forum daily for any news… cough

Nope, just a guess on when they’ll start shipping.
We’ll find out soon enough!
I’m just crossing my fingers it’s by the 31st at this point.

Also batch 1, definitely excited to get this in, the battery life had always been a weak point on the original, and I’d like not to use a 16in laptop when working from bed. Probably also a bit more responsive than an M1 Pro or 7940hs.
Just got my notification as well.
Woohoo me too!
I’m glad I was wrong!
Woooooooooo!
Batch 1 friends, what OS are you going to use?
I’ve been distro hopping lately. I have PCs running windows, fedora, and omarchy currently. I’m thinking about going with NixOS. I’ve been playing around with it on a VM in preparation but curious what others will run with initially!

OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, of course.

openSUSE Slowroll.
I expect it will run just as well on a Framework 13 Pro as it does on Framework 13, Framework 16, and Framework Desktops. I haven’t had a chance to try it on a Framework 12 but I think it would probably run well on them, too.

I’m deciding between Omarchy and CachyOS (KDE), or just install both since I will use Limine bootloader anyway
