I went back and forth between CachyOS and Fedora. It didn’t look like the optimizations with the Cachy repos would apply well to PantherLake due to the mixed cores… And with the Fedora “Everything” ISO, it looked simple enough to get the setup I want. So, going Fedora (with KDE)

Just got the email! So excited to finally get the laptop, I’ve been wanting to get a framework ever since the framework 13 came out. 5 years later, it’s hard to believe it’s almost here.

System: Ultra 5 325 (pre-built)

Edition: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Me too! Hopefully I receive all the pieces and they’re intact! Also hope that Crucial memory I picked up a few months back actually works okay in the Pro. I haven’t noticed if anyone in batch 1 has used any of those modules yet.

Also succesfully charged! Looking forward to receive it. I choose the lowest spec in combination with 32GB. (Switched on time from 16GB to 32GB).

Took my money on Sunday. No shipping notification yet, but I’m used to Framework taking some time. Of course, I’m just anxious.

Sent when we capture the balance on your order, after which it goes to our warehouse for shipment within 1-3 business days.

This means their shipping partner gets the order within 3 business days and not that they ship within 3 business days, right?

Last framework and parts I bought shipped through synnex so I assume I’m now in queue within their system?

Payment confirmed, nothing after that.

1 minute later… Shipment-Email ! (2 identical mails)

Eagerly awaiting my shipping email. Was charged on Sunday and the email said they would ship within 1-3 business days, would have expected it to ship by now. Hopefully not too much longer.
