I assembled my Framework 13 (Ryzen 7840) before the guide had added the comment about not removing the plastic flap over the RAM slots. So silly me I removed it.
My wifi performance has always been poor (I’m running Ubuntu 26 atm and have looked into the fixes for the media tek card and this has improved performance somewhat), and wondering if it is to do with the lack of EMI shielding over the SODIMMs.
Anyone know of an off the shelf product that might work? Preferably stocked by Mouser or Digikey? Was thinking of something like this:
