I received an email that I could not be charged and told me to fix it on the website. Actually there was a link inside, if you wanted to pay with giropay (like I did for the 100 EUR). Clicked the link, followed the instruction and money got out.
The email arrived today at 18:38 UTC+1 (Paris, Berlin).
Looks like I got charged this morning, too. DIY, American shipping address, no stuff like linux keyboard or anything to slow it down. With luck, I’m hoping it hits my doorstep before next Thursday. I’d really like to get her built and fired up!
I ordered the Linux keyboard, I don’t believe it’ll hold my order back. I guess we’ll see. I’ve already arranged to show it off to the IT help desk at my school .
Oh yep, charged. Cause of personal stuff, I didn’t see the charge but remaining amount due in account summary is a heap of goose eggs! I can’t believe that after nearly 9 months of waiting we finally have these computers nearly in our fingers.

I already bought all of the ports Framework offers last year, these will be spares. I’ll replace worn out ports as needed in the future.
Here’s the stats so far. I’m wondering how fast it ships for those in the US. It appears to be fast, I’m located in Utah, so we’ll see how fast it ships.
Some people are trying Wi-Fi 7 cards. That’s too new for me. I’ll wait for it to mature. I had issues with Wi-Fi 6 and Linux when it was new. I watched a YouTube video where the host was disappointed in mediatek. I’m not sure what makes it then a bad company or product.
Thanks for clarifying. Yep the Intel AX210 caused me a lot of grief on Linux. It might be a problem with WPA3 on my home network. I’m waiting for my Framework 16, if it connects without issues, then it’s probably the Intel card on Linux. What made you choose Qualcomm? I have a hard time finding anything other than Intel and mediatek.
