It was working perfectly with display port but doesn’t work with HDMI. The graphics are garbled and corrupted in the bios, at the framework boot logo, and the text during Linux booting. Once Linux is booted it looks and works perfectly. When I shut down it looks fine with the shutdown text.
I was using display port and didn’t have this issue. I had switch to HDMI as I don’t have DP available anymore (that input is for my Windows gaming machine) so I have to use HDMI for this machine. I’ve tested with multiple cables, and six different computers and this is the only one with this problem.
I’m running EndeavourOS and connected to an LG 32GS95UE 32-inch Ultragear OLED 4K Gaming Monitor. I’ve had the monitor for about two years with no problems at all. The problem happens before Linux ever boots so this isn’t a Linux problem. It also works perfectly once Linux is booted. Bios is 3.03.
The problem is I can’t read any of the text during boot or in the bios.
