# Hibernate Regression on Kernel 6.13.7?

I’ve noticed that as of the last week, my laptop no longer hibernates. Typically, the battery is almost full after sitting for a week, but this weekend, I noticed it was at 50%. I am tempted to say this did not happen on whatever linux release was current as of the week before last, but I cannot be sure that I updated Arch that week.

I’ve posted a regression on [regression: amdgpu: pci\_pm\_freeze returns -121, hibernate no longer works (#4067) · Issues · drm / amd · GitLab](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/4067) , but the TL;DR is that the `amdgpu` driver seems to be preventing hibernate by returning an error when the system tries to make it hibernate. From the logs: `pci_pm_freeze(): amdgpu_pmops_freeze [amdgpu] returns -121`

Has anyone else run into this and is there a fix?
