I’ve had that XPS. I really liked it. My FW13 has had a number of distros on it (I keep coming back to Ubuntu as it supports all my work stuff out of the box) and video playback has been no issue at all. Everything on YouTube has been great.
It is a very good laptop and you’ll like it.
