I noticed that the Touch Grass tile is just a picture.
This won’t do, at that point you’re not touching grass, you’re touching a picture of grass!
What I propose is gluing a small bit of artificial plastic lawn to the tile so you can touch real (artificial) grass!
Why not go whole hog and make a little planter tile that can hold real grass (or maybe moss or something)?
I like it! A little moss tile would be pretty cool!
Was it Level 1 Tech that made the plant pot tile?

I was lucky enough to be invited to the event where the desktop was announced and I actually have a picture of one of the demo booths that had touch grass tiles with fake grass on them. I thought this is what the touch grass tile was supposed to be, but it does make sense that mass producing images of grass is way more feasible than a fake grass texture. I thought I’d share it anyways in case anybody remembers the desktop having real “touchable” grass at some point.

Omg, yes, magnificent! I think, I might have been actually primed for this “idea” by the early product photo of this tile when the Desktop’s just been announced. Now it explains why the photo was like this
