I just updated the bios to 3.08d (using the link to the community from Framework Laptop BIOS and Driver Releases (12th Gen Intel® Core™)) using the UEFI method, from the stock bios 3.05. The process worked and according to both the bios and dmidecode I am on 3.08.
I have run linux on it without problems using S3 suspend since I bought it in 2022. However, after the bios upgrade, the computer cannot resume from suspend and the graphics is all messed up with a lot of artifacts and it doesn’t let me log back in but it is stuck on the lock screen. This is a big problem as I use suspend more than 10 times a day as part of my workflow.
Everything else seems to work well after updating, except one of my usb-c chargers that I sometimes use (a Nintendo Switch Lite EU charger).
I have tried to search the forum but not found any clear answers on this issue, although there are hints of similar problems I think. Anyone else who has or is experiencing similar problems, or can direct me to a solution?
