After a short drop onto carpet when I try to turn on my Framework 16 laptop sometimes (~7/8 of the time) I get keyboard/power button lights and the fans spin but no display output. The weird part is that it works consistently once it turned on normaly even when left running for multiple days. I think it resumes from suspend fine if I give input immediately but if I dont after a few seconds it shuts off but I think thats a separate issue. I am using ubuntu 24 but when this happens I can’t even get to the bios so im fairly sure its not a os problem. When I dropped it I caused some screen damage because of an external keyboard I had to use at the time from a separate problem but it was a short fall since I was just picking the laptop up off the floor. I tried one at a time removing the dgpu, both ram sticks and all input/midplate stuff but it would still only turn on sometimes. When it doesnt start up right the lights and fans continue working indefinitely and it gets warm fairly quickly untill i hit the power button and try again. Since the display was damaged I will probably try replacing that in a few months but wanted to see if anyone else knew of something else that would likely cause this
