I’m trying to use a third party display from wisecoco with a framework 13 mainboard but I can’t seem to find any way to adapt the internal 40pin EDP on the main board in any way other than to hdmi, which is too bulky for my needs. unfortunately the project I had in mind means the usbc extension ports won’t be usable for a display, has anyone managed to adapt the internal edp port to mipi?
Adapting to MIPI would require a bridge chip, but I can’t find any ready-made boards that aren’t bulky and expensive, so you would most likely need to make your own custom board.
You say the USB-C ports won’t be usable, why is that? Maybe a solution can be found there.
