Can I put 4 pads side by side and use them as ortolinear keyboard? Do they have some kind of gaps on the side? It is not clear from photos
I assume software is not the issue, just no gaps on the sides and connectors in right position?

Not really. I know there’s another thread experimenting with this stuff specifically, but it doesn’t seem like only macropads has worked so far.
Although since the keyboard and input modules use USB, you could theoretically make your own (although that would definitely require quite a bit of technical knowledge)
