When attemping to charge the laptop using USB PD 3.1 the laptop will only charge when sleeping.

I am able to charge fine at 80+ watts if I put the laptop to sleep or if I switch to a USB PD 3.0 port on my charger but using 3.1 with the laptop awake the red light on the side of the laptop just blinks slowly and negotiation of charging never happens.

I am using the UGREEN Nexode Pro 160W charger.

try swapping to a “generic” usb-c to usb-c cable (no e-marker, 60W max)

It sounds like you’re able to charge your laptop. What would charging via USB PD 3.1 give you - would it be faster?

This is more of a post to hopefully have Framework look into it and see if there is a board firmware issue with PD negotiation. These protocols should all be backwards compatible. I don’t need a workaround for my own setup.

Absolutely, fair enough. You’ll need to raise a support ticket for this. See Support -> Contact Support -> Submit a support request from the homepage.
