This is more of a question looking at the product’s keyboard and looking at the keyboard of other ‘newer’ products on the market and I kind of came to this question asking why do most modern laptops use near wafer-thin keys?.. Which, if it’s to save space in the design, I accept; but I feel like sometimes those key caps would wear out faster that the keyboard.
I then look at an older laptop and some of them either do the ‘island’ style or a fusion of island and something from the old where the keys are a bit thicker(not my much, about 0.8mm) and a bit more rounded like a Thinkpad T440s… I guess I’m asking would Framework be offering different options of key-caps beyond the Chiclet-Island style for the keyboards or if they will release some build kit where we could pursue that ourselves.
