Keyboard Out of Date (I updated out of order)

I updated my BIOS to 4.03 when it came out a few months ago. I also ran the driver updates available at that time. Due to a change in my needs, I rarely take the 16 anywhere, so it is usually hanging in a cradle under my desk and plugged into a dock.

What I noticed is that when I rebooted, it started taking longer to boot up on my monitors. Then, one day I had an issue with my dock, so I rebooted and actually opened the laptop only to see the white screen telling me that my keyboard and numpad are out of date (and then it timed out and showed up on my monitor, revealing the boot delay issue I thought I had). So I looked into this issue and found out that I was supposed to update in the other order. I’ve looked and reached out to figure out how to resolve this issue, but there only seems to be information for doing it correctly and nothing on what if I messed up, aside from one unanswered reddit post from 7 months ago.

How do I get my keyboard and numpad up to date? I’ve run all of the driver updates this year, but I still get this error every time my laptop wakes up from sleep now.

I’ve gone through these steps, and it still says out of date every time I wake up from sleep.

Are you using windows or linux? Did you get confirmation that firmware was upgraded correctly? I do not remember exact process, because I was doing it long time ago.
I remember that some user had issues and they tried to update firmware in a different way. Please check following lin khttps://community.frame.work/t/keyboard-firmware-update-doesnt-work/80678/2?u=wojciech_migas
