Just an update on this - I haven’t had it happen in a while so it could be one, or both, of two things that MAY have rectified it:
- BIOS Update to 3.18 (looks like 3.19 is out now) (check for your model here: BIOS and Drivers Downloads ) and (because I run Windows 11) did the Windows Retimer updates as well. You can read about it here: Framework Laptop 13 - 12th Gen Intel Core BIOS 3.19 Release STABLE
- SSD Firmware Update (see this: Western Digital Drive Update Guide Without Windows/WD Dashboard - #62 by Vikram )
So probably worthwhile looking into these two if you’re still experiencing this issue. Really hoping it doesn’t come back.
