Lenovo Launches First LPCAMM2-Based Mainstream Laptop, Powered By Intel Core Ultra Series 3 CPUs

Could this be hope for the framework community to finally get Panther lake?

I think this article represents a goal and a threat.

From my reading of other articles around these laptops it seems that Lenovo has gone pretty hard with the repairability on these laptops which could represent a challenge to Framework as a company… (although I doubt Lenovo will be offering upgraded mainboards / other parts).

However, I’d agree that some of these spec’s are something I’d love to see in a Framework 13 … LPCAMM2 to give improved speed for onboard graphics with options for repair and upgrade as well as maybe free up enough board space for a second NVME drive (even if only 2230/2242)…

Thats why I sent this. I dont support corporations who have the rnd to piggyback off companies (like framework) hard work and try something similar with the resources. Since Framework is lacking patherlake, this could be a shift in clientele.
