Really cool! As far as I know, this is the first Framework Laptop project for E-Ink display sharing the CAD file.

Looks like they are LED controls (From the Thingiverse page):

Yes it is the LED control from that lamp above the keyboard (Amazon link) :

You can cut the LED strip to lenght and shorten the cable (need soldering).
