Hopefully someone here can point me in a god direction.
I just received a mystery box FW13 mainboard, Intel Gen 11 I-5. Yes I know, AS-IS and all that. Thing is, bare mainboard, USB-C power/dock with Displayport monitor, Keyboard and mouse as well as a 8GB of RAM and NVME SSD were all working. I managed to get Windows 11 up and working and then attempted to update the BIOS.
Version 3.07 to 3.22 and it seemed to work, rebooted and then…nothing. Fan spins, LEDs light up and I get post code of 01001010. or G B G G B G B G
Before I give up hope, I have a RTC battery on the way, as well as a laptop battery from framework to see if the board is choking itself from updating with out either battery installed.
Any other ideas folks may have?
Thank you
EDIT:
Oddly, later on I decided to move the USB-C Dock from the left to the right side of the mainboard. It gave a POST error code but this time booted and finished the BIOS update.
Now it boots from any port, but still gives the post code. So whatever it is, it doesnt seem to be impacting basic use so far.
