Just recieved my new Laptop 13 Pro Ultra X9 388H today!!
After building in my Crucial 64GB 7500 MT/s into the device, it booted up with “Error message “Memory not properly installed.”
Unfortunatelly after checking the correct hold of the memory again, i recognized a missing pin in interposer.
When turning the interposer to bottom, the missing pin seems to stuck twisted in the upper part of the interposer.
Does anybody know, how long a replacement can take?
Would you add pictures of the underside of the memory and interposer modules? Did you get the interposer with the RAM? Is this RAM from FW, or from elsewhere?

We are all end users here on the forum. Contact support and start a case with them. Only they can give you an estimate of a replacement if it is not something that can be repaired.
Feel free to add pictures to this post or what is being witnessed as the missing pins and the interposer. Haven’t installed any LPCAMM2 memory personally I am curious how the underside of the mainboard applies here when the contact surface is on one side of the board. The other side is the memory module itself.
The Interposer was part of the delivered laptop. It was already sitting on the mainboard, with the metal top cover and a dummy plastic memory in between. The RAM is from Crucial, but supported by Framework.

I already raised a ticket, but just wanted to know, if there maybe others with the same issue.
Both sides, mainboard as well ram, have complete flat contacts. The interposer with its small pins interconnects them. Good visible here:
Ahh that makes much more sense thank you for the pictures. I see the defective pin on the interposer. Framework support should just be able to get a replacement interposer for this. Clearly it has a deformed pin.
Should be an easy part to just be mailed out. We have seen some bent pins on SODIMM slots on rare occasions, with this setup that would not require replacing the whole main board and just replacing the pin interposer.
So for everybody getting a new Framework laptop, first check interposer for defects. If i would have seen this earlier, i would not have turned the device on, to avoid any short curcuits. Just hope this has not caused any harm to RAM or mainboard.
