Hi,
i have a Dygma Raise 2 Keyboard. It uses N-key rollover (NKRO), which means they can register any combination of keys pressed simultaneously.
Right now, i can not use this keyboard in the bios and in pre boot password encryption. Is there a workaround to get it working?
Welcome.
Are you connected via a hub to the machine or directly to one of the USB Ports and if so front or back?
I’ve seen cases where if you’re connected via a hub, the machine will not recognize the keyboard (Ducky One 3.) I have to plug directly into one of the USB A 3.2 outlets on the back of the board.

i connected it in various ways. Back USB Port and Back USB-C Port. I think the Bios does not Support the NKRO only the 6KRO. When the System is running, everything works. But not in Bios and when you have to decrypt the disk or have to choose a boot device.
Let me see if I can duplicate this because it can be turned on and off on my ducky keyboard. I’ll report the results back and then if I can replicate the issue, submit the bug report to the GitHub firmware issue tracker.

The default mode of my keyboard is nkro. I switched to 6kro and had no discernible difference in functionality.
I don’t want to discount your experiences here but have you tried turning off nkro, using another keyboard and or switching the cable? There could be some potential power issues which I’m investigating separately but I don’t think nkro keyboards have issues unless it’s a very specific compatibility problem with desktop and your keyboard.
I’ve had issues previously but again, it was with a hub so I just connected directly to the desktop.
Ducky One 3 dip settings.
LUKS Login working
That is strange. Than perhaps a Dygma Raise 2 Keyboard specific problem!?! Will report it back to Dygma.
Curios, because with my other workstation the dygma raise 2 works in bios and preboot.
I tried now other cables, but no success on the desktop framework. Tried to connect via USB-C to USB on Backside, also USB-C to USB-C on Back Side the desktop framework. No success. The same setup works on my other workstation (asus motherboard).
I wouldn’t give up hope yet. I’ve slept on this and thought it might be potentially a USB topology issue because of the design of your keyboard. I think it has an internal hub which is causing issues.
Can you link to any manual or reference to how the split keyboard works?
If you have an RF mode versus wired, can you switch to RF?
If you plug in both sides of the keyboard for a fully functional setup, what happens if you only plug in one?
