I am looking at pictures of the Framework Laptop 16 and the vents on the bottom appear to be on the graphics card itself. Does anyone know the dimensions of the vents and where they begin compared to the bottom of the laptop? I ask because there are a number of cooling pad options that form a seal around the bottom of the laptop and I don’t want to purchase one that has a seal that overlaps the cooling vents.
there is a foot along the back of the framework 16 i don’t think anything would be able to form a seal unless cut specifically for the framework.
I use the Llano V12 with my FW16 when I am not out and about and that one doesn’t cover the vents. The foam on it seems to work better that other cooling pads I have used that don’t have that kind of thing. As for the ability for it to create a seal the foam gasket doesn’t seem to have any trouble dealing with any bumps or anything. Hope that helps a little.
