Just got my tracking number too!! Depending on where they ship from it would be awesome to have it by the weekend.
@Eric_Putney Right?! I was expecting them to ship this Friday at the earliest. Maybe the whole Framework team is hopped up on Halloween candy or something
Me seeing that people have already gotten their second email and tracking number
Where’s my goddamn email framework?!?
Haven’t even gotten my second email yet
Lucky you! When did you order?
(Would be nice if others also let us know when they ordered!)
No charges to my card yet and no tracking number, but I did just get my second e-mail 4 hours ago so I guess I can’t complain.
Though seeing others with their tracking numbers…
I’ve moved from obsessively checking my email, to obsessively checking my CC transactions
Soon my friend! Soon!
I ordered mine on July 30th. I was a little late on batch 3 because I couldn’t decide on the i7 or i5 DIY models, eventually decided on the i5. Oh well it’s been worth the wait.
I actually posted my config and order date before (reply #52) but since this thread has been super active it’s totally understandable to be missed.
It will happen.
Spoken as someone who has a tracking number in their figurative mitt.
Below is my order: Very excited to show my support with this purchase. I’m a Linux user so it will be running Linux. I know I’ll be tinkering with the OS to get everything working correctly, but that’s where the fun is.

The big problem with these shipping e-mails from Framework is that they do not list the CPU you ordered. They ask that you look over your shipping address and order information, but the one piece missing is the selected CPU. Anyone else notice this? I know my order is okay because I can log in and see the CPU select in order history, but missing from the e-mail seems odd.
As proven in the batch 3 thread, it aint over till FedEx yeets it to my doorstep.
Since they list the cost of each component, I think you can take the price of the top item and infer what CPU they’re charging you for. For example, mine (the mid-tier i7) says:
" Framework Laptop DIY Edition Quantity: 1
Price: $1,049.00"
That price is probably different depending on what CPU you ordered.
I think you are correct. My base price for the DIY edition is more expensive than yours, leading to believe I grabbed the highest end CPU, which I did.
Yeah, but that’s a bit of guesswork. They should really just list the CPU model outright to be super mega clear.
Yeah they should probably list it! But it’s good to know everyone seems to be getting the right thing
Never been more excited to get charged, framework can’t take my money soon enough lmao. Hoping to see that tomorrow!

Paid!
For fellow Canadians ordering, I received the email from Framework stating that they were unable to complete the payment. TDLR version, click the link in the email from a PC, ensure the currency is CAD in the top right corner of the web page (similar to changing to the Canadian site on your profile on Framework), and manually enter your credit card information (don’t use autofill from your browser). Payment went through after that.
I was having difficulty via a mobile browser on my phone using autofill.
