When I try to buy a finger print reader 2th gen or a battery when it was available in the Marketplace the message below pops or popped up upon checkout:
Sorry, we only have stock of that item at one warehouse. You can only purchase it when combined with a laptop order.
My experience is that parts are regularly out of stock or that parts can not be bought even if they they are available in the Marketplace. I contacted support about this but that did not help.

Thank you for your reply. I genuinely think that the Marketplace for the Netherlands needs some attention. Batteries e.g, have been unavailable for quite a while now. If the battery of my laptop stops working, I can no longer use it. I bought this laptop to prevent this situation.
