I’m living in Italy and my wife and I each own a Framework (12 and 13). Some colleagues knew the brand but didn’t own one (yet I hope, as I preached a bit ^^).
There’s also Fairphone for smartphones in Europe (not sure if they are selling in the US). Let’s hope more manufacturers will design repairable electronic devices. I would say that privates will change mentality faster than companies, but there will always be the problem of the upfront added cost that some people will not be able to afford (or not willing to make) even if in the long term being able to change only some parts of the device is cheaper…
