Pro upgrade questions

Hello everyone, my framework 13 has not held up well in the few years I have owned it and I want to upgrade to the pro but due to the price I cannot afford any upgrades besides what is outlined in the next sentence. I purchased a new mainboard and RAM but I am unsure of what I can keep as the official upgrade page can be kind of vague. The first thing I want is the bigger batter battery but I do not understand what else I need to buy to make that happen. Do I need a new keyboard and fingerprint sensor, if so does that make it so I need to buy the new trackpad as well? What I am basically asking is if I want the bigger battery what parts of my current 13 can I keep? Thanks in advance for anyone who knows!

Welcome to the forum @Dual.

If the bigger battery is a must I believe the whole lower case and new top cover is required (not the lid with the display)

I do not know if the same audio board, and speakers will work in the new frame. The WiFi card should still work. I think there is a kit being put together on the store for people who want to reuse most of what came with a Framework Laptop 13 and the pro boards. They may not be available yet though. All the expansion cards will work, same with the chargers and the SSD of course will to just fine.

The newer AMD and even the Intel boards for the Framework 13 are a big step up from the 11th gen boards that originally came with the system. Those mostly will have DDR5 SODIMM ram support which is slightly less expensive than the LPCAMM2 memory which is hardly available anywhere.
