Question About Which Type of Speakers Included on Bottom Cover Replacement Part

Background

I dropped my Framework 13 and dented by laptop at the corner. Therefore, I bought a replacement bottom cover. The bottom cover comes with itself, the speakers, audio board, audio board cable, and wifi bracket. Therefore, I swapped everything that didn’t come with my original Ryzen AI 7 350 Framework 13.

However, I see online that there are two speakers available: the original and the 80db upgrade. I believe the Framework 13 Ryzen AI 7 350 came with the 80db speakers originally (if I’m wrong, let me know). However, I don’t know which speaker the bottom cover came with. Is there a way to tell? I want to have the 80db installed as loudness is important for me.

I recall this coming up before.
What is the code printed under the QR code?
That will tell which they are.

It says FRANBXFGA2546301BY on my replacement and FRANBXFGA2515100W9 on the original speakers. However, none of them say 80db like the one showed in the video in the thread you linked. Did they remove that, or do I have original speakers?

That code seems to be what they use for 80db speakers.
You could contact support for confirmation.

From what I understand, those codes contain the part number, manufacturing year & week, and serial number. Always 18 digits.
