Does anyone else’s laptop just randomly shutdown.
In this case here’s a summary:
- Black screen (almost like I ran out of battery - but I was plugged in)
- Laptop didn’t restart, it stayed off
- I had to press the power on button for it to restart (and could tell immediately that it was a hard reset)
- I use 2 x 1080p screens plus my laptop screen (via a small HDMI / USB-C hub - not thunderbolt)
- When I booted back up, I lost my left screen completely
- Right screen showed duplicate of my laptop screen (normally my screens are set up as extensions)
Is there a way I can view a log to see what happened?
Laptop has not be shutdown properly for 3 days and in that time, either it goes into sleep mode automatically or I close the screen, unplug and then open the screen again.
