Recommended laptop bags / cases / sleeves?

Here’s an update, I got my hands on a 7700s module and it BARELEY FITS. super secure, you have to put in the thinner triangular side in first to get it to fit. Other then that I’ve had the bag for 2.5 years now and the only wear I have is some broken zipper pulls (you can order replacements for free from boundary, and they switched to a new design to prevent breakage) and I have a little wear through on the bottom of the back padding from daily use in school. Still absolutely worth the investment and it protects my laptop great. dGPU confirmed to fit.

Looking for a sleeve that fits the FW16 with dGPU that has a lining like this. I’ve had bad luck with the dyes from the plush linings seeping into the rubber feet on my laptops before. These types of linings don’t usually do that.

This model specifically worked for me both with and without the graphics module installed. Highly recommend. Alternatively, any case designed for the same laptop should probably work. This says designed for “16 inch Dell G16 7630/7620”

I’ve just ordered this bag for my 16" https://www.samsonite.co.uk/securipak-2.0-backpack-17.3---dark-blue/150942-1247.html. Should fit with the GPU module installed.

After a long look at all of the bags listed here and a bunch more, I’ve been using the Osprey Daylight 26+6 expandable backpack. It fits the Laptop 16 without dedicated graphics with a little bit of room to spare (sleeve depth especially - laptop z-axis - and some width - laptop y-axis). However it should be too narrow for a machine with the graphics module installed. Nice light, comfortable backpack with a small variety of pockets.

It doesn’t have a dedicated laptop compartment but just a sleeve in the back with it’s own zipper access.

For people with my requirements (light, good capacity, water-bottle holder, reasonably priced, international carry-on, some organisation built in) it’s a good choice.
