Is there any way to recovey files from the expansion card that I accidentally formatted?
Saw this on reddit too, unlikely sadly, as expected considering the message quite blandly says that all data will be erased permanently.
However there were some good solutions in that thread so maybe try those?
There really isn’t anything beyond that, no magic cure Ctrl-Z software.
On the off-chance that this isn’t you, this is the thread I’m mentioning.
Depending upon the formatting. A quick format just removes records so the bits can be overwritten but a full formatt will remove all the blocks. In the first case you will have to read the raw data and interpret the hex code and etc. Will take weeks, months and longer etc.
