Maybe. I got my preparing to ship message Sep 7th and I still haven’t been charged or gotten a shipping notification. i5 diy with no ram or ssd.

I ordered my DIY I5 on July 27th. Received my preparing to ship message like others last week. Last night I requested to add an expansion card to my order. In that request, I mentioned I was not charged the remainder for my order yet and asked “when”. Today I received a reply saying my addition was accepted and that batch 3 orders should be starting to ship next week. Hope this is true! Can’t wait to get mine!!

My laptop arrived yesterday, it is wonderful! But I will be using my cooling fan with it because I like my laptops cool.
Today I’ll take it to get malware, aka McAfee, installed at work

I got my payment confirmed this morning after having a slight glitch with fraud prevention being triggered on my CC. I had to confirm by text it was a legitimate purchase. Kudos to the payment processing retry function, as soon as the CC was cleared I was able to re-try the payment online. I’m really impressed, it might seem small and obvious, but the fact that this could happen without 3rd party human interaction says a ton about the how things are being managed!

@Daniel_Nerenberg Oh that’s neat. I was so worried about fraud protection kicking in that I called my CC company and stressed how important it was the charge go through. Were you just able to re-attempt the payment through an Account page on framework or something?
@Trevor_Thompson I got an email notification that there was a problem with the payment as it was processed last night. I also got a text message that there was a “suspicious” charge. I suspect it may have had to do with the time of night that the charge was processed (Just before 3am).
I was able to log into the frame.work’s site and from there retry the charge. I got my payment confirmation email immediately.
I’m just waiting for shipping confirmation. Crossing my fingers I can get it this week.
