I placed my i5 order on July 26th during the LTT wave, but I still haven’t gotten a shipping notification or card charge yet. I’m getting mad jealous over here.

I feel ya! I ordered an i5 DIY on the 27th. I got the “preparing to ship” email on the 7th, but haven’t been charged or notified of shipment yet.

You lucky SOB. I ordered a DIY i5 on the same day (9:36AM EST) and got put in Batch 4…
Don’t mean to sound insulting hope you get it on time and it all works! just good to know that the cutoff point has been reached for Batch 3 i5 orders which means Batch 4 cannot be far off.

My order, i7-1185 placed July 29th, has been bumped twice now.
Batch 2 → Batch 3 → Batch 4
I’ve not gotten anywhere with regards to the “Why” yet.

@Krogo I hate to hear that… I placed my 1185 order a couple days ago and it’s still showing Batch 3.

Just received my shipping and tracking number! My laptop should be arriving by the end of tomorrow. I am very excited. I ordered my laptop on August 5th, and I anticipate that the wait will be well worth it

That’s my assumption. I’ve asked support several times what the issue is with no response. It’s been a circular discussion each time or no reply at all. I ordered the 2TB SN850, no vPro wireless, 32GB RAM.
The first time I asked was back on August 6, when it got shifted to Batch 3.

Mine was shipped today - but it’s going to take a week :frowning: Ground shipping from NJ to San Francisco :frowning:

Is this really a problem? I, too, got the SN750 500GB - if it’s going to delay shipping I’ll just have it removed from my DIY order and run up to MicroCenter.

I’m gonna stop reporting exact dates since it looks like most of us in this thread are all in the same shipment! Got the same exact email as everyone here… the wait is almost over!

Oh wow, same-day delivery estimate? Let’s see if FedEx can actually pull this off…

Received it a few hours ago. I performed the touchpad repair (super easy), charged it up for a couple hours, then started installing applications. Hooray for Framework not preinstalling any malware besides Windows.

Anyway, this is a damned good screen. I’d still prefer a Thinkpad layout with trackpoint, but this is a very nice keyboard in its own right. Maybe I’ll get used to the arrow keys over time. I do wish the keys were illuminated, though.

Are you in the northeast? Mine shipped from NJ.

SWEEET! I totally missed that.

Yep. I’ll be mindblown if Framework actually manages to ship a laptop to me in only 24 hours

I’m glad to hear the screen is good. The screen makes a laptop honestly. I do hope they have 1440p and 4k options in the future though. 1440p is like the new laptop sweetspot IMHO.

The Framework has a resolution of 2256x1504. 1504>1440.

I wouldn’t want to see 4K on this because of the decreased battery life. Though it would make scaling in Linux a lot easier.
