Should I get the Laptop 12?

I am a photography and computing student and I don’t know if I should get the laptop 12, because although it has a stylus and other cool stuff, it has integrated graphics and not a lot of cores in the cheapest processor. Should I get a different one?

You can purchase the stylus separately; it is not included by default. The new Fw-12 revision is set to ship starting in October. So you have time to decide if it is a good fit. The new revision is boosting better battery efficiency (compared to the previous revision). They also going to have a backlight keyboard in line with other models. The one big thing I am looking forward to is the new fingerprint sensor in the power button (previously it was just a power button)

My problem is that the graphics are integrated so idk if I’ll be able to run my heavier apps on it

Could you list your programs that you use for others to be able to give their input on whether those programs are able to run on the framework 12

Keep in mind the FL12 has low color accuracy. It’s better to go for the 13 or wait for an upgraded screen to become available

The 12 has comically poor color accuracy. I wouldn’t recommend it for photo work. This could improve in the future but who knows when, if at all. I wouldn’t bank on it.

To me it’s really good for someone who needs a versatile machine for note taking and light drawing and not a lot else.

(Also just get a meta pen m2, the Framework stylus is a horrible deal and will cost you more money to own in the long run.)

No trouble I’ll probably just use a monitor anyway
