Selling my Gen1 Framework 16 exactly how I bought it, with Ramageddon going strong, I’ll be transferring my RAM/Storage to my Gen2 unit. THIS WILL NOT INCLUDE RAM OR STORAGE
RAM/Storage in screenshots/pictures is merely there so I could get pictures of the unit booted/in bios.
Its very lightly used - 20 cycles on the battery, overall in great condition. There are two small dings in the top of the laptop highlighted in the pictures. It is not bent, the display works fine, there are no other issues. This unit originally shipped with the liquid metal but I have applied the framework PTM pad in its place.
I did replace the Wifi card because the one it came with sucked with my wifi, you can choose to either get the card that’s in it now (NICGIGA WiFi 6E Wireless Card Intel AX210) or the original from framework when you order.
Will ship in original framework packaging/box. Shipping to US only because I have no clue what the tariff situation is.

Instead of buying a whole new framework 16 next time. You can buy just motherboard and some parts to get 2nd gen webcam etc. swap them on your current laptop and you’re upgraded.
About the makrets section, i guess you need members badge or basic badge to gain more access.
Remember these laptops are meant to be repaired and upgraded by customer. Which is why framework sells them as parts.
I understand, and this was originally my plan but they released essentially every single part with gen 2 stuff (CPU, GPU, Keyboard, Webcam, Screen). Originally I was just going to upgrade to the 5070….then I wanted the AI cpu…then found out I needed the new display for g-sync..etc. In the end it made more sense to just get a whole new unit since I was going to replace 80% of the laptop anyways.
I also posted under on the pinned thread in the marketplace section to try to get assistance/clarification on this. Maybe someone from the framework team can help me out.
