I’m experiencing a problem with my (amd 13") framework.
These videos are of me charging my framework laptop using a quality and genuine Anker cable: [Anker 643 USB-C to USB-C Cable (Flow, Silicone) - Anker US](https://www.anker.com/products/a8552)
plugged into an anker charger [Anker 737 Charger (GaNPrime 120W) - Anker US](https://www.anker.com/products/a2148?search_category=autofill&q=737%20120w)

BUT I experience similar issues with other chargers (my previous Acer laptop had a nice 60w usb-c brick that I used and it also does this on/off charging behaviour at the start.

The usb-c dell monitor that I have doesn’t cause this though.

any ideas what is going on here?
(to be clear: once the on/off/on/off behaviour stops, it charges perfectly, for the rest of the time)

I uploaded videos of what’s happening [here on Imgur](https://imgur.com/a/E6nUDnn)

Did you update to this version of the EC firmware?

>
> Mar 4 2024 Overview This is an intermediate release that just updates our EC with patches to fix DPC watchdog violation issues, and charger compatibility issues. We will follow this with our next bios release which will include a full AMD firmware update to resolve security issues such as LogoFail. This release is based on 3.03, with only updated EC firmware. You can check your current BIOS version [following the steps here](https://knowledgebase.frame.work/en_us/how-to-check-the-bios-version-on-windows-linux-bios-ryupu8HT3) to determine if you are on the latest release.
