[SOLVED] Framework 16 Touchpad Not working

  • I am using Windows 11 25H2 with my AI 370 HX with the 5070. I have the RBG keyboard + macro pad and the three part touchpad. I am on Bios version 4.01
    My touchpad just stopped working. The laptop still detects the module as present on boot however it does not work. When i go into device manager i can see the touchpad however there is an I2C HID with a error 10 (device did not start)

I’ve Tried disabling and re-enabling the device in device manager

Ok so i pushed down on the touchpad near the connector when i reconnected it, and it works. when i let go, it stops working, im not sure if its the connector or something else

Never mind, I figured it out. The ribbon cable connecting the motherboard and the mid plate was loose.
