I’ve just received my FW12 in batch 3. Everything’s great except the trackpad is rubbing and becoming stuck down. I’ve seen the FW13 guide for resolving this issue but no equivalent for the FW12 which appears to have a slightly different setup.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so, were you able you able to resolve it using the FW13 guide?
You may want to take a look at this article first. Step 11: It’s easier if you barely loosen the two screws at the bottom right and the bottom left and then tweak / move your touchpad around until it properly seats (picture below - X marks the ones to loosen). The article you are referring to has some good TS in it and would still be worth trying if this article doesn’t resolve it.
