I have developed (what I think is) a grey stain around the bottom edge of my Framework 12. How should I go about trying to remove this? I have already tried warm water and also IPA. I do have an ultrasonic cleaner at my disposal to try and use too.
I get something similarily looking on mine. It’s just sweat and other dirt from your hands. But in my case it simply comes off after being wiped (dry) with a towel. It is pretty annoying, but i’ve had that on all my devices that have lots of contact with skin. VR Controllers, keyboards, mouses, gamepads, racing wheels etc.
Try to just take a small towel and wipe it with moderate force and see if it goes away
