Standard 2.8K vs. Pro Touchscreen 2.8K: Real-world experience?

I bought my Framework 13 with the original 2.2k display. Recently it developed a defect and I now want to replace it with a new one. I’m unsure of whether to go for the “standard” 2.8k display or the new touch model from the Framework 13 Pro. Does anyone have experience with both of them? I don’t really care for the touchscreen but the - on paper - better specs of the Pro model seem enticing. Is it worth the extra cost? Is the increased brightness and contrast on the Pro panel noticeably superior in standard indoor environments?

Pro 2.8K, 2.8K, 2.2k.

I don’t care for colors/contrast/etc (I have a nice TV to watch content).. But brightness and reflectivity on the newer one is great. I can go back to using dark mode on a sunny day (in shade, maybe even in direct sunlight, but you’re not going to work from that scenario anyways).

It was a disappointment going from XPS to the original 2.8K (even though they advertised same peak brightness as XPS, it was not even close), so the new display is very nice in that regard.

Plus original has rounded corners, which I didn’t care for, but people’s self-diagnosed OCDs were getting triggered..
