Steam machine powered by Steam OS mini PC from Framework

Hi there

i am hoping to spark the intrest from framework to make a small mini pc steam machine where the internals are replaceable and the machine is certified powered by Steam OS

iam betting this is already in the works but i would just like to have the topic so people are able to show support/interest

Framework desktop runs Steam OS if you disable secure boot. Framework uses 3rd party boot firmware. All three would have to make it work, but should be easy.

But not certified, which is the key point. Valve support and tuning for hardware like the Deck and Machine comes with official support.

Agreed. The 32 gig framework desktop is already a better steam machine than the steam machine.

I agree it is a good machine i would just love it to be certified
