The rubber thing didn’t work for me and I didn’t have pliers, so I used a magnet to unscrew the screw… It took a while but it worked

A magnet?
I’m assuming it was pretty loose, and turned with little resistance?
Upon reading your post, I first imagined one of those huge, ridiculously powerful (and legit dangerous) neodymium magnets the size of your fist. 🫠

It was one of those small magnets they sell in car parts stores, they have different strengths but definitely nowhere near as strong neodymium magnets
