Hello, excited to have finally scored a framework. I grabbed a 13 Mystery Box and got an 11th Gen Motherboard. I understand all of these come with no promise of function, it does seem to post successfully and I get video out. My question is when I took it out of the bag a little switch seemed to fall out? It looks like Switch 3 from the schematic. I’m not great at reading diagrams, this is on Page 9 of the motherboard diagram PDF. What would the impact be if this switch isn’t connected? That is the chassis intrusion switch. It is used to detect when the input cover (in laptop form factor) or the front cover (in the CoolerMaster case) has been removed.
The downside to not having this switch is that your left and right charging LEDs will flash red every second.
You can probably disable the chassis check by turning on “Standalone mode” in the Setup page.
