Putting the device into tablet mode doesn’t seem to do anything, I have to manually rotate the display, turn on the onscreen keyboard, etc. to make it usable. Am I missing a dependency or something?
I had to set one of the bios settings to USI 2.0. Now I get rotation when I have the computer in tablet mode. And things work a bit more smoothly. I had to install GitHub - Vishram1123/gjs-osk: A (marginally) better on screen keyboard for GNOME 42+ as well.
weirdly, setting it back from usi to mpp seems to have had minimal effect (if not making the pen experience slightly better? could be placebo)
Needless to say it could have been a coincidence that USI fixed my issue here. Not sure what the problem was or if USI was actually the solution.
