- Safe to ignore this screw?
- Which glue? Epoxy?
- Why? Heat over time?

Welcome to the club. If it’s just the one, you should be fine. I ran mine with one missing motherboard threaded insert for a while before I eventually bought a replacement bottom shell. I never attempted a repair myself, so I don’t have any guidance there. I’d say the use of threaded inserts mounted in plastic was a huge mistake for framework.
Some other members of the club:
That center screw is notorious for coming out. I’ve managed to strip every one of the seven bottom covers I have. All of the rest are fine, it’s that one specifically. Luckily it appears that one isn’t really necessary.
Edit: I’ve also noticed that the screw holes that hold the speakers in on the Framework 16 are particularly delicate; I actually had a brand new bottom cover I ordered to replace one come pre-stripped. I forgot which one but I found a slightly bigger and wider screw that will go in without issue and actually holds tight.
