I noticed that there aren’t any touchpads available (says coming soon), however I do see that the chromebook edition is available and is on sale. Is there a material difference between the two or would I be able to use the chromebook edition without issue?

Hopefully someone with better information or memory can confirm, but I vaguely recall there being a difference with the firmware. ChromeOS required a few differences here and there. So beware, there is the potential that it might not be easily compatible, if there isn’t a non-ChromeOS driver.
