# \[TRACKING\] Debian testing on the Framework Laptop

I manually installed kernel 6.16.0 with the help of the [Debian kernel handbook](https://kernel-team.pages.debian.net/kernel-handbook/ch-common-tasks.html#s-kernel-org-package) and had to disable secure boot verification in the BIOS for it to boot.

The problem that Dino and Zeal windows are invisible after some time remains ☹
