Trouble installing Ubuntu 26.04.1 on FW 13 Pro AMD

I am trying to install Ubuntu 26.04.1 on my Framework 13 Pro AMD Version. I configured the USB with Rufus following the official guide.
I keep getting this error message after the GRUB menu. I have tried different expansion cards in different slots. Plugging in the power prompts a repeat of the error message.
This is my first time installing Linux. Would appreciate any help. Thank you!

UPDATE: I went into BIOS to check the date, it is set to 2025 ish. All components are listed correctly.

However, the ENTER key has stopped working completely now, I am not sure why?

Have you been able to boot into Ubuntu? If so, the first thing I would check is if the keyboard locale is set correctly.

I managed to install Ubuntu after changing the date in BIOS! Very happy it works. Found another thread of someone with the same issue:

coming from macbook pros and building windows pcs here, new linux user. I assembled my framework 13 pro, everything seemed to fit together nicely, and on my PC using Balena I flashed an install drive for Ubuntu. When I power up the framework laptop, and select try/install Ubuntu, the wheel just spins. When I hit escape it shows this: [image] Just hangs there. The problem with the enter key persists, and backspace and ‘d’ also don’t work, but I assume this is a hardware issue, discussed in this thread:

Framework Laptop 13, Gen 11, Ubuntu 23.04, 64 bit, Gnome 44.1, Firmware 3.10 Some of my keyboard keys have either stopped working or are working intermittent. The enter and backspace keys are basically not working. I have opened the laptop and re-seated the keyboard connector but no joy. I have resorted to the on-screen keyboard to type this request for help. Is there anything I can do short of replacing the keyboard?
