Just fyi, I found this fix here on the archwiki. With it I’m not seeing any issues any more. That’s with the Ryzen 5 7640U on Ubuntu 24.04, standard kernel (6.11 series atm).
Since using mainline to update 25.04 to the 6.14.4 kernel, I’ve not had a single hang, from cold boot. Still happens (rarely ?) post-resume from suspend-to-ram.
I don’t have any boot arguments, or updated mesa.
I am using FireFox from the Mozilla repo, rather than the included Snap
after switching to 25.04 does anyone gets a problem where if they want to upload the file or anything or when something download and you select location in the default file manager and try to navigate it normally crashes and have to manually have to set the path in the file manager like home/abc/like this manually in the location bar

It’s unclear to me what program you are talking about, if it’s running in Gnome, KDE or Something Else, and if it might be in X11 or Wayland.
For example i want to upload a document from my local drive to google drive and when i click upload it open nautilus the default ubuntu file manager now if I try to navigate that file manager it crashes everytime but instead of going folder to folder if i type the location in the top bar of nautilus where the current location is showing it is not crashing in gnome, with wayland

I’ve not had FireFox cause a hang, after sleep, since using 6.14.8 from mainline, so maybe Ubuntu shipped a Mesa update in the last month or so, or something else in the stack doesn’t trigger it any more.
I could but I don’t know how many people are able to replicate this problem or it’s just me thing that’s why i mentioned here

Updated MESA is now available for 25.04 via https://launchpad.net/\~kisak/+archive/ubuntu/kisak-mesa so trying that with the default kernel:
